We had a platypus survey training evening in Warburton on 18 March with Healesville Environment Watch Inc and members of the Warburton community. 13 volunteers came along to learn how to survey and record sightings. Whilst we saw no platypus that night, one of the volunteers tried the technique on Tuesday and recorded one near the tennis courts, with great footage of it popping up to the surface.  We also recorded the birds and frogs we saw/heard on the night. We look forward to more animals being recorded and sightings uploaded to iNaturalist. This event was funded by a Yarra Ranges Council Community Partnership grant.
